Leah Church is a former UNC Women’s Basketball player and current three-point world-record holder. She has been featured on the Today Show, ESPN, Sports Center and more for viral trick shots and is privileged to have her name inscribed in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Leah is a 2020 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a minor in coaching. She presently does basketball training and assists with FaithFest, a major Christian music festival. Leah continues to have speaking engagements and tells her incredible testimony of how she was offered a full scholarship to her dream school, but later had to choose her faith over basketball.
Leah has a motivational story of how she went from a longshot to an impactful player hitting game-winning shots against Duke and the defending-national champion, Notre Dame. She has an inspiring story of overcoming obstacles and persevering amidst challenging circumstances.
Leah is passionate about sharing her story of God’s faithfulness and His miracle-working hand. She has a heart to see people saved and lives impacted for the cause of Christ. Leah, also, seeks to encourage others to stand firm in their faith in the middle of pressure and adversity.
