Shauna Marie Hyde

Shauna Hyde, PhD has a BS in Biology from Marietta College, Marietta, OH. She worked at Microbac Labs for 11 years doing environmental work, obtained a Masters of Divinity from United Theological Seminary, Dayton, OH. She has completed here PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling.

Shauna is a United Methodist minister and is Executive Director at Hope Recovery Manor, a sober living facility for women. The Vicar of Tent Town is her third book. 50 Shades of Grace (2013) was written to put out what true love is honestly about: encouraging, giving and a gift from God. Victim No More! (2011) articulates Rev. Hyde’s observations of the connections between her faith and life as a black belt in Shota Kahn karate, including commitment, discipline, and mercy. She continues to her message, speaking at rehab centers, counseling centers, women’s retreats, church services, youth rallies, and reaching out in the community to make a lasting difference..
