Kenneth D. MacHarg is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee and his Master of Divinity at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has been married to Polly Ballantine MacHarg of Absecon, New Jersey since 1965. They have two children, Margaret Beth Brown of Bowdon, Georgia and Dr. Brian D. MacHarg of Boone, North Carolina. They have three grandchildren and one great grandchild. They have lived in seven countries outside of the United States where, in addition to pastoring nine international churches, he has served as a broadcaster at Christian missionary radio station HCJB in Ecuador and taught at UNELA, the Evangelical University of the Americas, in Costa Rica. He is the author of ten previous books and hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. He and his wife live in Carrollton, Georgia, USA.
